Exploring Cultures
Exploring Cultures was designed to foster multi-cultural awareness. We explore the richness and traditions of the cultures in Latin America and Spain and we learn to appreciate the differences among these countries with a common denominator: the diversity in their traditions, and the differences even in the Spanish language! We celebrate the differences! And we make connections and comparisons among them.
Among many wonderful activities, children also learn concepts in geography, natural and social sciences, and “travel” while learning why these countries are so special! And as we become “EXPLORADORES”, we’ll have a direct hands-on learning exploration with these exciting cultures by using all our senses! This immersion course is mostly taught in Spanish.
